My name is Alexa Rindy and I am a Staff Research Associate in the Miller lab. I am from Reno, NV and received my B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Nevada, Reno (2014). I received my M.S. in Forensic Science from UC Davis (2016). I joined the Miller Lab in 2018 and have been grateful to be apart of nearly every ongoing project in the lab since then. Additionally, I oversee lab safety, maintenance, and training. I have two rescue cats, Toast & Panko. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, baking, napping with my cats, talking about my cats, and traveling near and far.
I am a Junior Specialist in the Miller Lab helping with research concerning the effects of early-life environmental tobacco smoke exposure on lung development. I graduated from UC Davis in 2020 with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
